Insights from the New Zealand Aerospace Challenge 2019 runner up, who presented their solution for how farmers can balance nutrients and pollutants using satellite and UAV data. NIWA’s technology estimates and informs farmers when nitrate uptake capacity is saturated, enabling them to make informed decision on soil and water management.
